We had to cut down the tree right behind our house. It was dead and starting to rot. It was the tree I would see the skinks sun on, and the tree Christopher would look at out his window every morning.
It is amazing how the person cutting it down (Gary's friend Sean) can have it land just right.
It is so open in the back yard now.

How scary! Would it have made a sound if nobody was there? Change is good.
Yeah, it is kind of nice looking out the back doors, and seeing straight through to the woods. Sure does open things up. I am just glad not to worry about it falling on the house in the next storm!
